David Pollack is follower of Christ, husband and father who was a highly decorated collegiate athlete who played defensive end at the University of Georgia. In the 2005 NFL Draft, he was a first-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals, selected 17th overall, but his career was cut short after he broke a cervical vertebra in the second game of his second season. In 2009, David joined ESPN, where he excelled in broadcasting for thirteen plus years until he was let go in the summer of 2023.

On this episode of The RESGEN Giving Life Podcast, David and RESGEN Founder Tom Henderson visit about:

  • Why David feels it is more important to pray for your kids’ resilience rather than for their safety.
  • How we never outgrow our need to surround ourselves with others who encourage us to be all God created us to be.
  • The three Holy Habits David practices every day that help him keep focused on Christ throughout his week.
  • And so much more.

This episode was recorded in front of a live audience on Saturday, February 3 as a part of RESGEN Men’s Summit 2024.
The Giving Life Podcast: Conversations about being a man whose life in Christ gives life to others.
