The realities of retirement are much different today than they were even 10 years ago. The world around us is constantly evolving and we need to keep up with that in order to help our clients reach their retirement goals.
In this episode, we’re going to talk about some of those new realities and how they’re going to affect folks in retirement. Plus, we’ll discuss the planning strategies that we need to consider and share some of the process we take with our clients to address these differences in today’s retirement.
Here is some of what we’ll discuss in today’s show:

· Retirement now doesn’t mean sitting on the porch sipping sweet tea. Retirees today are much more active and that means we have to account for that financially.

· The current investment environment is much more challenging and that requires building a portfolio that doesn’t keep you up at night.

· How you can tell whether a financial advisor is legitimate or not?

· Is it a bad idea to work away from fantastic income if you don’t want to keep working?

Key Takeaway:

"One of the things people underestimate is how much they’re going to spend in retirement."
