Charles Vogl is an executive consultant, award winning author and regular guest lecturer at the Yale School of Management and Yale Leadership Institute. He works with leaders in technology, media and government to make them more effective in creating change.

I recently had the privilege of reviewing his book which I found to be an easy read and conversational and packed with solid content .

I reviewed the book at my League of Young Professionals Readers and Leaders Book Club before an audience of 50 people. The book made me feel amazed, optimistic and empowered. I am not surprised that it won the Nautilus Silver Award in Business & Leadership.

What We Discuss with Charles

The documentary he helped his wife make, a story of his wife’s parents escape from Cambodia to America, without having money, any connections or any network.

The challenges of getting stories from strangers.

What can we learn from groups that handled diversity in the past apply it to our current situation with Covid?

How someone gets accepted into your group.

Why it is important to be mature in your group and your group members to know that.

The need to create a place for your group or community to meet.

What is a mature group or community?

How elders impact a group or community

The 2 cultures he learned about at Rice University

Why men from certain groups find it hard to be vulnerable.

And much more
