家族と一緒にロスからデトロイトへ移動。1985年の蒸し暑いミシガンに到着。ここから僕のGM人生が始まります。どのように展開するかなどは不明。徐々に足を踏み入れていく自分、あまりにもGMの巨大さに驚く自分など描写しています。振り返ってもまあまあのスタート。後悔も一切なし。人生いつでもそうですが、この時期も色々な仲間に助けられ、無事に通り過ごしていくことができました。
