My guest today on RIGHT IN DC is Scott Wahl, an entrepreneur and business owner in the DC area and also a dad. I was very intrigued by a missing person case he has gotten involved with that I had never heard of before, and then finding out about how many missing people there are in the United States. According to the National Association of Missing Persons (https://www.namus.gov/), about 600,000 people go missing every year, with about 70% to 80% of them being female. That number is more than the 55,000 US soldiers killed during the Vietnam War. In this podcast, we discuss his knowledge and involvement in investigating the Maura Murray case, a 21-year-old college student at the University of Massachusetts who went missing in 2004. MORE: https://www.investigationdiscovery.com/tv-shows/disappeared/full-episodes/miles-to-nowhere Miles to Nowhere Maura Murray goes missing after her car swerves off a dark and windy road over 140 miles away from her dorm. As the years pass, her family and friends refuse to give up their search to discover what happened to her that fateful February night. https://www.oxygen.com/the-disappearance-of-maura-murray/season-1/everyone-has-a-theory https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disappearance_of_Maura_Murray https://twitter.com/MauraMissing https://www.facebook.com/groups/MauraMurrayMissing/ https://www.facebook.com/MauraMurray2004 https://tunein.com/podcasts/Technology-Podcasts/107-Degrees---Maura-Murray-p1136969/ https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/podcasts-from-the-past/missing-maura-murray https://www.gofundme.com/find-maura-murray https://www.eonline.com/news/883921/the-disappearance-of-maura-murray-everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-baffling-unsolved-case - - - - Follow Gayle Totter: gayletrotter.com twitter.com/gayletrotter www.facebook.com/gayle.s.trotter/ instagram.com/gayle_trotter Support Gayle's RIGHT IN DC Podcasts: www.patreon.com/gayletrotter
