Critics showed venom, parents would protest, and a major studio would go into full damage control mode after the release of Silent Night, Deadly Night, as the demand for the film became bigger and bigger due to its controversy, the creators would still try and bury it. The ad campaign would be the center of all the negative attention but the producer would find a way to get the product out in people hand, and America would show the importance of keeping the character of Santa Claus pure for their children.
