Welcome to River City Church Online. Thank you for joining us today for our summer series called Living In God's Amazing Grace.
Today's message has been presented by Pastor Darrell Bierman.

In Paul’s day, Judaizers were calling newly converted Christians to do certain things (e.g., get circumcised) and live a certain way (e.g., keep the whole law of God) in order to be accepted – or, in order to receive God’s acceptance.
Paul flat-out confronts that heresy & declares instead that in the life of amazing grace we have freedom from legalism (which is the futile attempt to please God by our performance); indeed, history shows even God’s people of old could not keep the whole law of God (see Acts 15:10-11).
Beware: Churches and Christians sometimes do the same as these Judaizers did (I’ll give examples).
Knowing that Christ has “covered” us (all our sins) – and has made us entirely acceptable to God, we are free to love; indeed, “the only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” (Gal. 5:6).
Instead of focusing on all of God’s individual commands (and keeping score) focus on love.
Why? Because love is the fulfilling of the commands. (Gal. 5:14)

Café will be open right after the service.
We are located at 215 South Street, Cambridge, Ontario.
God bless you today and we hope to see you soon.
