One of the organisations trying to address Alice Springs' chronic crime problems at the coal face is calling for more government effort and funding to lift children and their families out of poverty.The town's only indigenous-community-run independent school is engaged in a daily battle to re-engage disadvantaged kids and their families; and give them the best chance to live productive healthy lives.
