With summer just around the corner for this week’s check in with Glasgow based Pharmacist Elizabeth Roddick it is all about how best to prepare health wise for the summer.
Elizabeth began by telling RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey about the main best ways to be prepared for the summer, what to have in your first aid kit, ensuring that you are up-to-date with all your medications and making sure you have enough in advance if you are going away on holiday over the summer. Then to being careful about being out in the sun, using sunscreen, covering up and not to be out during the middle part of the day which is the hottest part of the day too. hottest part of the day.
Ending with some good advice around moles and why it is so important to keep a check on them if you have any.
