Who doesn't love Tony the Tiger and Frosted Flakes? But, who is Tony's caretaker and what do they think is GREAT?

Tony works for Kellogg Company. Fortunately, one of their loves is running a triple-bottom-line company. That dedication, headed up by today's guest, Sustainability Director, Amy Bruan, culminated with their selection with the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.

How does a massive company, selling many brands and managing thousands of suppliers and employees, climb that high? As you will hear today, it is setting ambitious goals, building great partnerships, making the right investments and collecting data to know the project is on track. Transformation, running a more balanced company that gives back as much as it takes, succeeds when it seeps into every nook and cranny of that company.

Kellogg's has so many positive examples of CSR in action, including some amazing work in Egypt. They are well on their way to sourcing sustainable, renewable supplies, from great farmers, getting to net zero on waste/energy, cutting water use and preserving all natural resources. Yet, that does not stop sales or their climb to the top of the food leaderboard. They continue to deliver better-than-average shareholder value. They are one of the best-in-class members of global companies.

So, there are great principles behind great products. Listen in as you enjoy your bowl of Frosted Flakes.
