Symphonic metal goddess Simone Simons has been Epica’s frontwoman since their debut to the world in 2003. Her stunning vocal range is well known and her ability as a lyricist runs deep, which continues in the new Epica studio effort entitled The Holographic Principle.
Simone took time to talk with Rock At Night just prior to her meet and greet with fans at the historic State Theater in St. Petersburg, Florida. Simone discussed the concept of the new album, the expansion of her pipes, and the impressive guitar work contained within the new album. This metal songstress was articulate and just genuinely a kind human being. Not only did she give us a memorable interview, but she was kind enough to give us an “on the spot” photo shoot.
Thank you Simone for what was to be a Memorable Monday for this writer.
