Tonight, it's a Nuffield Farming Scholarship Trust Special Edition!

For this episode I spoke to 3 different scholars, Georgina Crayford, Jenna Ross, and Tim Downes, and asked them all about their Nuffield experiences, and why they’d recommend it to others.

If you’re not familiar with Nuffield, Every year about 20 Scholarships are awarded in the UK to young people between the ages of 22 and 45 from across the agricultural industry. There is no need for formal qualifications in order to apply for a Nuffield Scholarship; instead, the Trust looks to unlock an individual’s potential and broaden horizons through study and travel overseas. Scholars are selected with a view to developing tomorrow’s leaders within their individual business and the industry as a whole.

Nuffield Farming member countries span the globe, with established programs in Australia, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Kenya, and Zimbabwe; Associate countries also include Brazil, USA, South Africa, and Southern Caucausus (Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan).

Applications for the 2020 Nuffield Scholar cohort opened in January and will close on July 31st this year, and you can find out more details at www.nuffieldscholar.org or if you’re overseas, www.nuffieldinternational.org

LONDON MARATHON 2019: As required by Universal law, if you're doing a marathon you have to tell people about it. Well I'm doing the London one in April 2019, and I'm raising money for the incredible charity FARM AFRICA.

Between 8 February and 8 May donations in support of my London Marathon challenge will go to Farm Africa’s Coffee is Life appeal. Give before 8 May 2019 and all public donations to Farm Africa’s Coffee is Life appeal will be doubled by the UK government. Your donation will support Farm Africa projects across eastern Africa, and the matched funding you unlock from the UK government will directly fund a Farm Africa project that will give women in Kanungu in western Uganda the opportunity to make a decent living from coffee farming.

If you want to see more about the AMAZING work they do please visit www.farmafrica.org & if you'd like to sponsor me the link is www.justgiving.com/fundraising/william-evans12 and from now until 8th May, the UK Government will match your donation - thank you!
