Rob Brydon started his career in entertainment by joining Radio Wales at the age of 20. While he was working as a disc jockey he developed his impersonation skills, and his vocal talents led to his working on doing voice-over work in television advertising for commercials. Rob Brydon’s career took off following British Comedy Award success for his 2000 television comedies Marion and Geoff and Human Remains. Since then, audiences have had the joy of seeing him in numerous TV shows, including the much loved ‘Gavin & Stacey’, on the big screen in a number of dramas, and hosting numerous programmes including his own BBC late-night show. In 2013, he was honoured as a Member of the Order of the British Empire for his contributions to comedy and broadcasting, and for charity work. Most recently, he embarked on a tour with his eight-piece band recounting tales from his hometown in Baglan to Hollywood and back. Rob also continues his podcast ‘Brydon &’ which he started in 2021. Rob joined Sophie Corbett, host of Rockwater In Conversation With, to chat about all things career, music, life and Ronnie Corbett.
