Tony "Bomber" Bellew, so-called because of his aggressive power punching, is an English former professional boxer and a three-time ABA heavyweight champion. He was working a 7 AM-4 PM shift in a pillow factory, while he worked his way through the amateur ranks. He enjoyed a 40-7 amateur career, following which he continued to have great success in the field of boxing with a professional record of 30 victories, 1 draw and only 3 losses, holding the WBC cruiserweight title from 2016-2017. Tony has dabbled in acting with his big-screen acting debut in the 2015 Hollywood movie, Creed, part of the Rocky franchise. He’s had guest appearances on A League of Their Own, Celebrity SAS, he’s written a book and hosts his own podcast, ‘Tony Bellew is Angry’. Today, Bellew is an expert analyst who joined the UK commentary team for DAZN. He is the director of sports for Weapons Down Glove Up, a group that wants to improve the future by providing young people who have dropped out of school the option to participate in boxing camps and have access to education and employment prospects. He has taken up a new challenge as he fights to get youngsters away from crime.
