Together, her and Billy formed the band called the A-Bones. Both Miriam and Billy then took their passion for music and started their own fanzine, Kicks, then came Norton Records, which focuses on amazing rockabilly & garage reissues from the 50s-70s. If that weren’t enough, Miriam’s love of literature led to the formation of Kick Books, their publishing company. Miriam has a new book just fresh off the press called, Mind Over Matter: The Myths and Mysteries of Detroits Fortune Records – written by Michael Hurtt and Billy Miller himself.
