Summer Eyes is Ben Thede on guitar and lead vocals, Denny McDowell on guitar and backing vocals, Sean Pass on bass, and Justin Stimson (aka Mustin Douch) on drums. Everybody got together at Julie’s house and talked about the release of their new EP, “Raise the Ala rm,” which they’ll be celebrating this Friday, December 15th at The Space.

22894147_763545772796_6465887266881014302_n Also on the bill is Brides, No Me Gusta, Games from Portland with members of Bubble Cats, and our own Peter Degroot’s band Vortex Remover. The show starts at 7pm, is all ages until 9pm, and costs $5 because art has value.

All the guys except Justin (who grew up in Portland) grew together on the mean streets of South Salem. They not only grew up together, but they grew up musically as well. It’s pretty sweet.
