Listen to the View from the Gwladys Street podcast, a dedicated fan podcast produced by Everton fans for Everton fans.
Frustration was the key word bandied around Goodison Park following the final whistle of Everton's 1-1 draw with Huddersfield. A game Everton were expected to win turned into a battle they couldn't overcome.
Huddersfield started off the stronger of the two teams. After recent defeats to Manchester City and Chelsea, who could blame them for wanting to stop the rot! Parking the bus, time wasting, the referee. All excuses given as reasons why Everton didn't find a winner. In truth, based on performance, a point was nothing more than the Blues deserved.
They now have an agonising two week international break wait before they can put Huddersfield to bed. Their next Premier League encounter coming in the form of bottom of the table West Ham United at Goodison Park on September 16.
This week's View from the Gwladys Street fan podcast is brought to you by host, Ian Croll and guests Rob Astell, Mark Crotty and professional boxer/huge Blue, Tom Farrell.
Top of this week's agenda is of course the Huddersfield result as the lads discuss and debate where they think it all went wrong. Other topics include the form of Tom Davies, the question is asked whether fans are putting too much expectation on Ademola Lookman and Cenk Tosun’s goal contribution is scrutinized.
