A group of fishermen found themselves in a surf and turf war with a whale off the coast of New Hampshire on Tuesday. The whale won. Two people were aboard their boat, calmly fishing and not being capsized by a giant whale, when suddenly they were forced to stop fishing, and be capsized by a giant whale. The whale breached from the deep without warning, lolloping into the stern of the boat, all within view of a second boat, whose occupants must have thought ‘sucks to be those guys.’ It did suck, as the breaching whale not only capsized their boat, but ejected them right off it and into the briny deep below.
Thankfully, no one was injured, and the whale, having successfully won the argument, returned to its slumber in the abyss. The boat has since been salvaged, although as per the Jaws quote you’re now preparing to type in the comments, they might want to get a bigger one.
