Messy Action #RTTBROS #nightlight Messy Action "For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief." - Proverbs 24:16 (KJV) In our walk with God, we often strive for perfection. We've heard the adage, "If you can't do it right, don't do it at all." This mindset, while well-intentioned, can sometimes hinder our spiritual growth and service to the Lord. The Bible shows us that even the most righteous individuals stumble. The key is not in never falling, but in rising again each time we fall. This is where taking "messy action" comes into play. Messy action is about starting somewhere, even if it's not perfect. It's about taking that first step, however imperfect it may be, towards building a godly character. Remember, God doesn't expect perfection from us; He desires our willingness and obedience. Consider the disciples. They weren't perfect when Jesus called them. They made mistakes, they doubted, they failed. Yet, Jesus used them mightily. Their willingness to follow, despite their imperfections, allowed God to work through them. As we take messy action, we build momentum. Each step, each attempt, brings us closer to our goal of Christlikeness. The apostle Paul reminds us in Philippians 3:12 (KJV), "Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus." So let us not be paralyzed by the fear of imperfection. Instead, let's embrace the process of growth, taking messy action and allowing God to refine us along the way. As Isaiah 28:10 (KJV) says, "For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little." Remember, God is more interested in our direction than our perfection. Take that messy action today, and trust God to guide your steps towards building a godly character. Prayer: Lord, help us to take action in faith, even when it's messy. Guide our steps and refine our character as we strive to serve You. Amen. https://linktr.ee/rttbros Be sure to Like, Share, Follow and subscribe it helps get the word out. https://linktr.ee/rttbros
