When feelings of upset over specific situations combine with the accumulated weight of many such instances, it can easily get under our skin and leave us feeling very vulnerable. I was feeling this way the other day and felt the Lord directing me, as so often, to the Psalms for an antidote. Psalm 10 stood out in particular, so I have adapted verses from it for this very brief meditation, with a bit of help from Isaiah, and then continued by way of some much more soothing and uplifting promises that help us to take the longer-term view.
