On Thursday, March 25th, Ron Weiser, Chairman of the Michigan Republican Party, described the 3 top elected women in Michigan - Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Attorney General Dana Nessel, and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson - as “the three witches.” And when asked about how Republicans can remove from office the two Michigan Republican Congressmen who voted to impeach Trump, he stated that, other than defeating them in the primary, "assassination" was the only other option. Weiser is one more example of the heightened risk we face of more political violence and assassinations. We hear a clip from Glenn Beck publicly wondering if he should kill Michael Moore and could he get away with it? Instead of waiting for right-wing crazies to commit more acts of violence against the Michigan “witches,” Michael Moore asks what must be done to stop this potential violence, and to save the lives of elected representatives targeted by the head of the Republican Party. Is it free speech to call for someone’s death? He is joined on this episode by Flint, Michigan Congressman Dan Kildee who survived the January 6th attack on the Capitol. They discuss the existence of Republican political violence in America, and whatever happened to the "9/11-style" Congressional commission that was supposed to investigate the January 6th insurrection.
