The Iliotibial band (ITB) is a broad band of connective tissue on the outside of the leg. If you have ever had IT Band Syndrome you know it is a bugger and hurts. In this episode I discuss what it is, how long recovery can be if left untreated, what you can do at home and what other conditions can mimic the pain (Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome especially).
