Enjoy the conclusion of the conversation between Kenn and Sophia Fate-Changer.

Sophia Fate-Changer (they/them)

Author of The Language of Fire & Ice, a Beginners Guide to the Elder Futhark, Sophia has been a practitioner of Norse Paganism for 20 years and has dedicated much of that time cultivating a radically inclusive/anti-racist Heathen practice called The Way of Fire & Ice, alongside Ryan Smith. They teach three rune classes, a trance class, and a sigil workshop through the Fire & Ice tradition, which can be found at www.onblackwings.com along with their book. They are published in Pagan Consent Culture, an anthology that includes their essay on consent within Heathenry, a founding member of Between the Veils (BTV), and work as a full-time artist specializing in rune sets from rare materials such as bog oak, bog yew, Siberian elm, antler, and more. They also specialize in Heathen sigil design and creating sacred objects for pagan practitioners. Sophia has volunteered time to develop progressive community agreements for BTV, Hexenfest, and has advised on other smaller projects. Identifying as a mixed person of color, nonbinary, and a Rune-walker, they strive to make their classes and teaching accessible to all.
