Welcome to Saturday Morning Coffee for Saturday May 14, 2022!

Reese is traveling with his family this weekend, so we have special Guest Host Savannah Craven in the studio with Glenn Dye for this week's episode of Saturday Morning Coffee.

Savannah and Glenn open the show with a discussion of the protests and threats of violence this week directed at the Justices of the Supreme Court as a result of their apparent intent to reverse the ruling of Roe vs. Wade in the Dobbs case that they are now considering. We also discuss the idea that Trump will likely run for President and 2024, and other items being discussed in the news this week, including the threat of nuclear war with Russia and the renewed threat of terrorism. We also discuss recent developments in the Britney Drexel case, who disappeared from Myrtle Beach in 2009. An individual who has been a "person of interest" since 2012 has not been arrested.

Savannah and Glenn are joined on the program by John Cassidy, who discusses his campaign for the newly-created District 61 in the S.C. House of Representatives. (voteforjohncassidy.com)

Robert Cahaly, highly regarded pollster with the Trafalgar Group polling firm, discusses the current US Senate Race in Pennsylvania. Kathy Barnette, who has not been endorsed by President Trump, has been making strong gains in recent polling.

Finally, we're also joined on the show by Rep. Russell Fry, who joins us to discuss the recent legislative session in the S.C. General Assembly, and his campaign for Congress. He discusses some recent events with the campaign, including his endorsement by President Donald Trump, and some events coming up for the campaign. Savannah and Russell also discuss the recent (and very important) election integrity bill that was passed by the General Assembly in the last week of the session.

Thanks for listening to Saturday Morning Coffee and thank you to Savannah Craven for Guest Hosting! Join us again next week, live or on the pod-cast, for more Saturday Morning Coffee!
