Generation Kill is an American seven-part television miniseries produced for HBO that aired from July 13 to August 24, 2008. It is based on Evan Wrights 2004 book Generation Kill, about his experience as an embedded reporter with the US Marine 1st Recon Battalion during the 2003 Invasion of Iraq and was adapted for television by David Simon, Ed Burns, and Wright. The ensemble cast includes Alexander Skarsgard as Sergeant Brad "Iceman" Colbert, James Ransone as Corporal Josh Ray Person, Kellan Lutz as Corporal Jason Lilley, Sgt Rudy Reyes played himself and Lee Tergesen as Wright.

The Warrior Reunion Foundation-https://www.warriorreunionfoundation.org Facilitated the reunion of all the men in 1st recon battalion. Warrior Reunion Foundation supports combat veterans in overcoming the challenges of post-military transition by reconnecting those who served together overseas. They challenge stigma through shared experience, rebuilding essential peer support networks that enable our veterans to live with meaning, purpose, and positive impact in their communities.
