On this episode, Becky joins The Imagination podcast to do an urgent emergency broadcast podcast episode featuring two survivors and on-going victims of human trafficking and government abuse in the UK, Serenity Rose and Rachel Caruso. Because of the emergency status of this situation, we decided to halt everything we had originally planned and broadcast this story far in wide in hopes we can get resources for these two amazing women. Prepare to be shocked by what you hear - if you think trafficking victims ever ‘escape’ the system and that the crimes committed against them just ‘end’, you’re missing the bigger picture. The measures in place to keep survivors on-going victims is horrific and astounding. We lay it all out here and give you a taste of what real survivors go through on a day to day basis and how systems are put in place to rob them of their basic human rights, sanity, and financial resources.
