The other day I read an amazing story in Sports Illustrated about a man named Adam McKay who has been paralyzed from the neck down for 14 years and he recently set out to break the world record for most miles traveled in 24 hours in a motorized wheelchair.
But Adam didn’t just do this one feat in a vacuum, he has taken several long trips, many of them hundreds of miles with his good friend beside him on a road bike and his mom in a vehicle following close behind.
