Many of us have experienced making life plans, only to have them unexpectedly change or be impacted by life events out of our control.
In this episode, Sadie speaks about beginning their first semester of school to begin their music therapy degree when they got into an accident, leaving Sadie with a head injury that put a stop to the continuation of their studies.
After a year of recovery, Sadie returned to learn that the route they had planned for themselves was no longer an option due to the limitations their brain injury created. But that didn't stop Sadie from finding an alternative route.
Listen as Sadie shares their story of taking an unexpected path with a dash of perseverance and a sprinkle of willingness to find a way back following their dreams .
