Natalie Westwood (she/her) is an ecologist working on her Ph.D. at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. We chat about her field research adventures in Costa Rica, coming out as queer as a scientist, and why ecology more than just the food chain you learned about in elementary school.
