The latest shoe to drop in the Robert Mueller investigation of Russia's meddling in the 2016 US Presidential Election dropped in the last few days with the stunning indictment of thirteen Russian nationals on various charges, the most interesting of which being that they utilized social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter as intended for their nefarious purposes. Steve and Ben examine this latest update in the case and how social media platforms were so brazenly used and taken advantage of for potentially criminal purposes, and whether or not any response to these actions could compromise the future functionality of these platforms themselves should extensive regulation of their services be required.
