गरीबी का शुरू से ही रहा बुरा हाल,
इसने किसी को किया कंगाल,
किसी का जीना हो गया बेहाल।
ना तरस खाए देवी लक्ष्मी,
न कुछ मदद करे सरकार,
इससे बुरा और क्या होगा समाचार।
कोई घटाता है पेट जिम जाकर,
पर कोई न देता रोटी गरीबों पर तरस खाकर।
नेता के मुख पर देख गरीब अपने नाम की स्माइल,
पर वो न समझ पाए ये तो है उनका वोट मांगने का स्टाइल।
भरती रहती है सरकार अपनी झोली,
पर कभी तो लगा देती है नाम की बोली।
जब जब गरीबी है डोली,
उनसे सरकार की पोल है खोली।
पर गरीबी को मिटाने के लिए किसी ने अपनी आंख न खोली,
बस खेलते रहते हैं गरीबों के साथ आंख मिचौली।
सोना उगाने वाले किसान को उठाना पड़ता है कर्जा,
पैसा न चुका पाने के कारण
उनको अपनी मौत के कारण से
भरना पड़ता है पर्चा।
पढ़ाई करने वाले बच्चों को करनी पड़ती है मजदूरी,
पेट भरने के लिए काम करना हो गया है मजबूरी।
यहां लोग अपना स्वार्थ हैं जानते,
गरीब के दर्द को न पहचानते।
गरीब करते एक ही दुआ,
किसी को न मिले गरीब होने की बद्दुआ।
सब पेट भरकर सोए,
किसी का बच्चा न रोए,
ऐसा भारत देश संजोए।
