Dr. Remous Ocloo is a Medical Scientist with a keen interest in understanding the roles genetic markers play in antibiotic resistance to help answer some questions related to antibiotic resistance in Africa. His current research towards his PhD at Stellenbosch University has led to the identification of new species in Africa and several novel strains of staphylococcal species.
Dr. Remous Ocloo is also passionate about computational biology, an approach which gives insights into complex diseases for a better public health outcome. He is also a fitness enthusiast and an advocate for a healthy lifestyle
