Logan Paul is facing a lawsuit over Prime, an energy drink company he co-founded, for the following reasons ¹ ² ³ ⁴ ⁵: - *Excessive Caffeine*: Prime Hydration LLC was sued on April 8 over misleading and deceptive practices regarding the company's 12-ounce energy drinks containing between 215-225 milligrams of caffeine, which is above the advertised 200 milligrams. - *PFAS, or "Forever Chemicals"*: Independent third-party testing found the presence of PFAS chemicals in Prime Hydration grape flavor. PFAS are called forever chemicals because they "bioaccumulate, or accrue in the body over time." - *Deceptive Marketing*: Prime is also facing legal action for allegedly marketing their products to children, with Senator Charles Schumer calling on the Food and Drug Administration to investigate Prime energy drinks in 2023 because of dangerously high caffeine levels. Schumer alleged in a letter to the FDA that vague marketing targeting young people influenced parents to buy a “cauldron of caffeine" for their kids.
