An early ep this week, in order to put some fire under this WICKED Vancouver Fringe show–not that it needs our help–50 Shades of Dave, an erotic parody of the Vinyl Cafe. The writers, Kyle Carpenter and Nico Dicecco, the latter of whom stars as the dearly departed Stuart MacLean, provide untold stories of Dave and Morely. We bite the Inside the Actor’s Studio devices and ask “Can we speak to Dave?”, which Nico delivers with extreme aplomb. Somehow we also determine that God has a cloaca. Fringe.
