On the 110th episode of the Seattle Foodie Podcast, we're talking to Lauren Ko (@lokokitchen), author of the new book, Pieometry. Lauren took the social media world by storm with her viral eye-popping and elegant pie and tart designs. She just recently released her new book, PIeometry, and is available anywhere books are sold. Learn all of her tips, tricks, and recipes for making all of her wonderful pie and tart creations in Pieometry. Also, signed copies are available at Made in Washington stores. Tune in as Lauren tells us about how she first started creating her pie designs and how her new book came about.

In addition, Monica and Nelson recap the week, which included cookies from Crumbl Cookies that just recently opened in Covington. They also tell you about the Franz Bakery Spirit of Giving campaign, which starts on October 23rd and ends November 22nd.

As for what they ate this week, Nelson went to Pike Place Market and stopped by Panier Bakery and Michou, grabbed lunch at Fremont Bowl, had dinner in Issaquah at Green Iron Mongolian Grill, stopped by Q Cafe for a cake from V with Love Cakes, and grabbed Chorizo Breakfast Burritos from the T.Juana Tacos Food Truck.

Meanwhile, Monica sampled the pinata cake from Sweet Nothings and More, had a delivery from Milton's, ate at Grill City inside Seafood City, stopped by Go Poke and Dochi, had food from Tolu, and visited Momocha, Where Ya at Matt, Agua Verde Cafe, and Tutta Bella.
