Romans 15:4 in the NASB says, “For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.” Not only does the Word of God bring you encouragement to persevere, but the people you associate with will either encourage you to reach for your dreams, or they will discourage you and tell you it is not possible for you. It is wise to choose your friends carefully.

If you want to walk in victory, you must be determined in your mind and decide beforehand that you are willing to pay the price to walk in victory. You must have a settled purpose or absolute direction to a certain end. You need to settle in your heart that you will not be denied the gratification of reaching your goals.
