There are three ways Holy Spirit leads you: by an inward witness; an inward voice; or He may speak to you audibly. The key is to learn how He’s leading you so you can walk it out by faith.

Being led by the inward witness is the primary way God leads his children. Romans 8:16 says, “For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!”

The second way Holy Spirit leads you is by an inward voice. Romans 9:1 says, “With Christ as my witness, I speak with utter truthfulness. My conscience and the Holy Spirit confirm it.”

The third way Holy Spirit leads you is with an audible voice. Your spirit man has a voice just like your physical man has a voice. We call this voice your conscience. You’ll learn the difference between your spirit’s voice and Holy Spirit’s voice, because His voice is more authoritative than your conscience.

John 16:13 says, “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.” Holy Spirit will lead and guide you from within your spirit-man instead of being led from the outside realm so you can walk in total victory!
