Over recent months there have been growing concerns about the mental health of a range of workers. These have ranged from those working from home for long periods without appropriate support; those who have been concerned about the stability of their roles; and those working on the frontline dealing with the consequences of the pandemic. One group that fits this latter categorisation well is frontline security officers. They have not only had to deal with conflict, with stressed shoppers, patients and others, and then manage the aftermath. There is of course a corporate responsibility to look after staff. But how well has this been performed, and how do we know? This webinar will discuss:
To what extent are we aware of mental health issues of frontline security staff?
What have been the key ways in which the sector has responded and what have been the learning points?
What do we need to do to manage this more effectively?
Panellists:
Chris Middleton Dip ML – ABM UK, IFPO UK and ADLC Mental Health Advocate (UK)
Harmeet Anand PCC – Executive Ontological Coach (India)
Barry Dawson – Managing Director at Wilson James (UK)
Nicholas Reed – Protective Services Professional and advocate for inclusivity and mental health awareness (UK)
