For some thirty-five years, N. Riley Heagerty has been researching and writing about the truly great physical mediums. Including writing The French Revelation, about the amazing independent voice medium, Emily French; and Portraits from Beyond about the Bangs Sisters, who precipitated spiritist portraits and did independent writing. He wrote The Direct Voice about the medium Elizabeth Blake, and Spectral Evidence Volumes I and II, which are great compilations of mind-blowing mediumistic events that happened during the heyday of Spiritualism, which was a hundred or more years ago now. His eighth book was The Phenomena of Spirit Materialization – The Transcendent Wonder of the Ages – The Most Glorious and Staggering Eye-Witnessed Accounts Ever Recorded of Spirits Returning from the Afterlife. Wow. And it’s even illustrated! N. Riley Heagerty has also sat with most of the current internationally known physical mediums. And his wife Caroline is a practicing Clairvoyant medium who herself has numerous clients. And now his ninth book, if I’m counting correctly, is called Etta Wriedt (1862-1942). Its subject ranks among the most extraordinary trumpet mediums from the heyday of spiritual mediumship.
