Today, our hosts, Emily Jensen and Saanvi Somani discuss various topics regarding the study of refugee resettlement and forced migration trajectories with Dr. Molly Fee. Dr. Fee primarily studies refugee resettlement in the U.S. context and focuses on the individual experiences of those on their way to being resettled at Nuffield College at the University of Oxford. We will discuss her use of ethnographic methods to look at the experience of resettlement from the perspective of refugees, as well as the current immigration system in the United States and its effectiveness.
