'The Spirit of the Climate Crisis' is the 3rd in an ongoing SENSESPACE climate series getting to the heart of the climate crisis. I’m joined by Brendan Kelly, Anne Keay & Matthew Green to explore the ‘Yin and Yang’ of climate change, an ancient Chinese model offering a path for balance with nature. We also explore collective healing and what it means to 'hospice' modernity as a way of being rather than 'save' it. Anne draws upon her experience in conscious communities to articulate the necessity of a love & heart centred consciousness in navigating climate crisis. -- Brendan Kelly has 20 years full-time experience practicing acupuncture and herbal medicine and currently practices at Jade Mountain Wellness, the clinic he founded in Burlinton, VT USA. He lectures and teaches at colleges, universities and conferences in the US and Europe on a wide variety of topics including Chinese medicine, western herbal medicine and ecological issues. North Atlantic Books published his first book "The Yin and Yang of Climate Crisis" which presents how the rapid destabilizing of the environment mirrors similar imbalances in our own lives and our culture More at: www.personalasecological.com -- Matthew is a climate journalist at DeSmog and author of the excellent Resonant World substack exploring collective trauma healing. More at: https://matthewgreenglobal.substack.com/ -- Jacob Kishere is the host of SENSESPACE. He writes essays and reflections on the Culturepilgrim substack and raps under the same name. Jacob is holding space for dialogues on Insight, Wisdom & Healing. More at; https://culturepilgrim.substack.com/ www.jacobkishere.com -- As a Certified Conscious Business Change Agent, New Leadership Coach-Mentor, and accredited Focaliser in the Science of Group Work, Anne’s mission is to work with other global thought leaders in activating heart intelligence and cultivating awareness of group consciousness, in business and in all aspects of life. She is deeply committed to the evolution of higher collective potential and is actively engaged in fostering emergent We-Space processes, practices and dialogue and awakening the power of group wisdom.
