In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes in David Arena, owner of the name of famed automat Horn and Hardart’s, onto the Dom Giordano Program to hear his plans to reboot Dom’s beloved franchise. Arena tells that he’s already rebooted the coffee brand, sending listeners to HornandHardarts.com if they’d like to relive the great taste of H and H coffee. Then, Arena tells Giordano that he’s working on launching brick-and-mortar Horn and Hardart’s in effort to bring back the automat service style in a fast-moving society. Dan, who’s often turned his nose up at the notion of food sitting under heat lamps, changes his tune when he realizes the efficient nature that Arena and Horn and Hardart’s hopes to operate.
