From January 1 2018, Client Authorisations will become mandatory in Victoria for all conveyancing transactions. We discuss this change with Sean Simmons, co-founder and head of ZipID. Sean is a lawyer and national Verification of Identity (VOI) expert who has been working closely with firms across Victoria as they transition to the Client Authorisation process. We discuss the pain points that are emerging in practice and how they’re being managed across firms.
