Cpl. Michel Funicelli of the RCMP has investigated the Rizzuto crime family and West End Gang in Montreal for nearly 15 years, and shares Lee's doctoral supervisor in Concordia's psychology department. The two meet in a Montreal hotel room to discuss the history of the Italian mafia in the city, investigating criminal organizations, and why psychopaths are paradoxically underrepresented among them.
