Today on the show, we're talking about the Detroit Lions, the Detroit Tigers, Michigan and Michigan State Athletics, and more as were joined by some of our great guests. We kicked off the show talking about the Lions in Training Camp as Jeff Risdon from Lions Wire joined us. He and Huge talked about some of the storylines surrounding camp, talked about the kicker situation, and much more. We were then joined by former Detroit Tigers Head Coach Jim Leyland. He's been inducted into the Hall of Fame, and the Tigers will be retiring his number tomorrow at Comerica Park. Jim told us about what his Summer has been like with all of the Hall of Fame stuff happening, talked about the hardest part of being a Head Coach, talked about his time with the Tigers, talked about this current Tiger's squad, and much more. We then talked about MSU Football as Graham Couch from the Lansing State Journal joined us. He and Huge talked about Jonathan Smith and their expectations for this season, and Graham updated us on Mel Tucker suing MSU. We started the second hour talking about the Tigers as Tim Staudt from Staudt on Sports joined us. He and Huge gave their thoughts on where the Tigers are at right now and talked about how it seems they've given up, they talked about Tarik Skubal still in the hunt for the Cy Young Award, and more. We were then joined by Clayton Sayfie from theWolverine.com to get an update on the NCAA and their notice of allegations towards Michigan. He also told us about what he's been seeing at practices lately, and much more. We then talked more about the Lions as Jeremy Reisman from Pride of Detroit joined us. Jeremy told us about some of the players that have impressed him at Training Camp so far, talked about some of the storylines, and more. We were joined by Frank Schwab from Yahoo Sports in our final hour to talk about the Lions and the rest of the NFL. Frank's latest Power Rankings has our Detroit Lions in second place behind the KC Chiefs. Frank told us why he put the Lions there, talked about what he expects from the team this season, looked at the other best and worst teams in the NFL, and more. We then played Bill's earlier conversation with former Detroit Tigers Head Coach Jim Leyland. We wrapped up the show with a "Moving Ferris Forward" interview as Huge spoke with FSU Football QB Trinidad Chambliss. Trinidad told us about his journey to playing under Head Coach Tony Annese, talked about what makes FSU and the Coaches different, talked about the bond he has with his fellow teammates, and more.
