There's been a lot of baseball buzz about the Wells twins for a while. Alex and Lachlan have both achieved plenty on the diamond, despite being just 21, and the latest accolade has come for Alex, with his selection in the 2018 MLB All-Star Futures game. And in a great moment for Aussie baseball, it's come alongside another Aussie young gun, in Lewis Thorpe.
In this episode and the next, Chris Coleman will chat with the two young left-arm hurlers.
Today, it's a quick chat with Alex about his season so far with the Frederick Keys in the Class A Advanced Carolina League, how he found out he'd been chosen, and how he feels about the prospect of playing for the legendary David Ortiz on the weekend.
