Host Brian Quain was invited and sat on a panel at the Florida Brewers Conference 2018 about mental health in the brewing industry. Co-owner of Hidden Springs Ale Works, Jacqueline Garman called Quain up one morning asking if he had read an article on Shaun Hill (Farm Hillstead Brewing) discussing this topic of mental health, and from there, the panel grew bigger. The panel is a 90 minute discussion, and the episodes are broken into two parts. Also on the panel is Devon Kreps (7th Sun Brewery); Cindy Parsons (Assoc. Professor in Nursing at the Univ. of Tampa & Mental Health Practitioner) and Leanne Cura (Pres. of Center for Rational Living).

These episodes can be pretty heavy in content, and not all views from the panel participants reflect how What Ales Ya feels, or vice versa. This open discussion has been a long time coming, and pleased to know it will be happening more. We hope this discussion will open doors and open hearts to those listening and we hope to be a door you can open and talk to us at any time.
