In this episode of CHURCHepreneurs Richard P Moore talks about naming names. False teaching doesn’t happen in a vacuum. False teaching is spread by false teachers. If we don’t know who those false teachers are, how can we as Paul in Romans 16:17 exhorted us to “mark and avoid” them. It would be impossible to avoid someone you’re not aware of. So, “Naming Names” is often necessary to help a Christian community avoid false teaching. In this episode Richard makes a case that the New Testament authors, and even Jesus himself often named names to help churches and Christians avoid false teachers, and avoid falling into deception.
