Rob Laidlaw is the founder and Executive Director of the international wildlife protection charity Zoocheck. Throughout the past 40 years his work has involved hundreds of investigative initiatives, legislative campaigns, public awareness programs, animal rescues and numerous litigations, in Canada and elsewhere around the world. His current area of focus is the exotic pet trade and in making the animal protection movement in Canada more effective.
