Your engagement as a leader is how YOU best serve your team. Why? Because your engagement DRIVES everything we have discussed in this Retention Roadmap Series.

Engagement is how you equip, empower and encourage your team to do their best work. When you engage, you remove roadblocks, drive clarity, empower others to act on your behalf and give your team tools to get the job done.

Here’s the catch.

In order to engage well, you need to know yourself well. You need to know both what YOU require and what your team requires.

In today’s episode, I want to discuss:

- Why you need self-awareness about when to engage or not

- A simple structure for consistent engagement with your EA so you can stay connected

- The importance sharing how you prefer to engage

- Why a lack of engagement can strain your relationship
